This is a great idea! Yes, tomorrow is day 1.. we can do it! Also, I talked to one of Anne's friends (Stacy) and she has done a couple half marathons(Prior to training was never a runner-gives me hope). I talked to her about our training schedule and she said it sounds very similar to what she has done. She said it would be a really good idea to do a 5K run during our training, to help break things up and give everyone a little more motivation. I think that there is a 5K for Race for the Cure in Omaha early this Spring. I will check it out and post the details for those in town. (I am sure there are a lot of those opportunities in CA). Anyhoo.. let me know what you guys think about that. Good luck tomorrow!
Hello friends! I checked into the 5K run thing and of course it is a lot harder to find than I thought in Omaha for early spring. The Race for the Cure run seems to only be in October. So, we will all have to keep our eyes out for a run this spring if we want to do that. Kumari-- I love your post and I am pretty sure that an hour of bootcamp at 5:30 in the morning is more intense than 3 miles. Actually, I know it is! All I know is GO DANA for doing your miles with ankle weights-- that is hardcore! :0)
